11 Unit Tile Roof Cleaning Project for New Tampa Homeowners Association

Many of these buildings have not been cleaned in some time. We also cleaned all of the parking garage roofs and mail area. This project took us about 3 days to complete. We could not fit one of the lifts to accommodate many of the sides of the units so a 34 foot ladder had to be used often. This project was very challenging and tested our skills. When we completed the projected they hired us to clean the sidewalks and driveways for the buildings.

The homeowner did not want one step taken on any of the tiles. This was a very large home with a huge pool screen room.  We had to use the lift to boom out over the pool screen.

This project was picked apart in just under two weeks in between residential jobs. Many of the buildings were empty and were easily coordinated with the contractor to be serviced without bumping into the other construction crews.

This is what it looks like when we arrived the next day to a street full of dirty tile roofs. The tiles cleaned up well to a light green color. The tiles were pressure washed the last time they were serviced.  This presented us with the problem of large build-ups of algae on the lip of the tiles. These were no easy roofs to shoot. Here are the after pictures that were taken immediately once we were done.  Our solution continues to clean the shingles long after we have left.  The solution will still be active for up to 48 hours, deep cleaning down to the root of the algae.  Once the active ingredients have burned off, our proprietary algae bio-cide will continue rinsing the algae spores from the home.  This provides a longer lasting cleaning than pressure washing.  Pressure washing alone will only remove the bloom of the algae and not the roots.  This will allow the algae to return thicker, as the spores have been spread further across the roof and provided water and food.
