Hello, I am Tom Peerless owner of Peerless Roof Cleaning Tampa Florida. Our family operated business started out as a side business to fund my love for the game of golf. The latest driver on the market, or maybe a new shaft, golf can get expensive fast. As far back as I can remember, I have been chasing the small, white ball all over the country with my dad. As the son of a retired father, we spent our time out on the greens, competing with each other. I was very fortunate to be able to turn my love of golf into a professional career at the young age of 18 with the Professional Golfer’s Association. I worked at a local country club as an assistant, learning all facets of managing a club, and used all of my free time perfecting my game.
It did not take me long to learn that working as a golf professional was not as lucrative as I had hoped. During my early years as a pro, I met a gentleman that owned a roof cleaning company. He tended the bar at the club. I ended up working for him for many years, learning the trade. Despite my passion for the game, I still had to pay the bills and time was not on my side. By this point many years had passed, I moved, and we were planning a family, time for me to make my move.
I moved to the Tampa Florida, Bay area approximately nine years ago. I was brought to the area by my wife who wished to pursue her MBA at the University of South Florida. Lucky for me, I was able to find a position at a private country club in the area. It wasn’t long until I found myself needing the extra income. So I started roof cleaning again, but now in the Tampa area. After five years of cleaning on the side, the desire to run the best roof cleaning company in Tampa was my main focus, so I decided to invest money into my own operation. Once my wife finished her Master’s Degree, we decided that it was safe to see how far my desire to be an entrepreneur would take me.
It has been another 6 years since we decided to devote full time to the business. My wife and I give 100% (and then some) to Peerless Roof Cleaning, Inc. We have been able to grow the company and upgrade our equipment with the best roof cleaning tools and pumps on the market. It has truly been a dream come true for us.
